For anyone thinking about this
Great location, just minutes from the beach, and the room was clean, providing a comfortable night's sleep. The staff was friendly and made check-in a breeze. Parking is a bit of a challenge with tight spots. Perfect for those looking for a budget-friendly stay near the boardwalk.

We had a lovely short stay, especially with our two babies in tow! The location is fantastic, just a quick walk to the boardwalk and beach. We enjoyed the nearby Cowell's Beach and felt right at home with the cozy atmosphere in our King Suite.
In my wife’s opinion, a bit more counter space in the bathroom would be ideal for families with children.

The location was a big plus, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions like the beach and the boardwalk. It was cozy enough and had a fridge and microwave for our snacks, which I appreciated during our short stay. However, the parking was a hassle due to tight spaces and uneven terrain. Overall, it provided a decent spot for our group weekend getaway.

Steps from the beach and boardwalk, the location is fantastic for family fun. The staff was exceptionally friendly, allowing us to park early before check-in. The room had a nice flat screen TV and pleasant bedding, but the bed was quite firm and could benefit from an update. The overall ambiance felt dated with reality setting in on the maintenance side, suggesting some fresh paint is needed to elevate the experience.

We hit Cowell's Beach for some fun in the sun and tried out the boardwalk rides, which were a total win. The room was snug but cozy, with a fridge and microwave to keep our snacks handy. Worth considering if you're in the area.
The parking situation was a bit of a hassle, so just be ready for tight spots and uneven terrain. It could get tricky, especially during busy times.

ideal spot for beach walks and park explorations nearby
the room was great, big, clean, and quiet. The fabulous location made it easy to stroll to the Santa Cruz Wharf and Neary Lagoon Park just a short walk away, making my weekend all the more enjoyable as I took in the beautiful views and fresh air. it's perfect for a solo traveler like me wanting to soak in the sights and sounds of the city, but the noisy metal bed frame could use some upgrading to enhance the overall comfort.

It was just an appropriate option for a quick break in Santa Cruz with definitely value for money. The air conditioning worked efficiently, which was a relief during our stay. Just be prepared for the dated decor and consider bringing your own toiletries for a better experience.
